Hey, everyone I’m Brandon this year’s LATTC ASO’ President. I am a member of SAC, a delegate for SSCCC District 7, an intern with AFT and I work full time at a homeless shelter. I’m enrolled in school and completed a GED. Due to the College Promise program and with aid from the DRC, I was able to enroll at Trade Tech. Here not only have I found a purpose in helping others, but also myself as an individual. I truly believe that education is the gateway to a better equitable and just society. The best way to obtain the change that we want to see is by promoting education. This year I lead an incredible team that is tasked with aiding students on one of the most difficult years in the history of our college. Not only are we facing a pandemic that has claimed the life of too many, but a housing and financial crisis that has left some of us literally in the street. We face an unseen change in our society from a hostile political climate, wars, extreme climate change, racial injustice to an ever-growing threat to our democracy. Nonetheless, the issues that we face today can only be fixed by people like you. The solutions to our problems lie within your responsibility to care for one another. We often think that our actions don’t have an impact beyond the scope of what we see, but I assure you that you can do more for your community that you believe possible. Our goal this year is to empower you. We at ASO welcome your involvement in benefit of students. Reach out to us if you need assistance, or want to make a positive change for yourself and others. We are here for you.    “My Actions Are My Only True Belongings”

Hey y’all! I am a first generation college student and a DACA recipient. Two years ago I made the biggest decision of my life: leave my home state Birmingham, Alabama to continue with my higher education. My current major is psychology. I like to spend my time doing yoga, drinking sweet tea and doing my makeup.

Hey everyone, I’m a current 2nd year Marketing major that really likes social media! No joke, I’m a Twitter Kpop stan so that might tell you a bit about me. However I do also like photography and graphic design, along with exploring new places to eat. Even though Pho 24 knows me on a first name basis.
